For all applicants: NSF is interested in determining the impact of its programs. Participation in an evaluation of cCWCS activities is a requirement of workshop attendance. The first page of the application describes an IRB protocol for the evaluation. Data will only ever be reported in aggregate form, with provisions for confidentiality. By clicking the button at the bottom of the first page of the application you indicate your consent to participate in the evaluation and you will then be prompted to enter your application data.
cCWCS provides accommodations, meals and tuition. Transportation to/from the workshop is the responsibility of the participant or their home institution.
For applicants who have attended previous cCWCS workshops: It is vitally important that you briefly describe how you have used your participation in previous workshops your own teaching (or in outreach activities, or research). There is a space to do this in the application.
