2010 BCCE: CWCS Forensic Science Mini-Workshop

The CWCS hosted a mini-workshop on forensics science at BCCE 2010 which attracted 48 participants. They completed a three hour workshop covering a series of four experiments.

 

John Woolcock discussed identification of bullets. Carmen Gauther covered presumptive tests for drugs. ATR-FTIR for forensics applications was presented by Dee Belle-Oudry; and Eric Shurter made a presentation on fluorescence spectroscopy for detecton of explosives.
